Three Things About Me

MckLinky Photo Blog Hop * Three Things About Me

One:
When I was 18 I moved from a small small town in northern Minnesota to Minneapolis. I was there for 9 months to attend a trade school. Then when I was 19 my BFF (since the 1st grade) and I I moved from Minneapolis to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I can't believe I ever had enough in me to do such a thing. We worked for a wholesale travel company called Certified Vacations (just now going through some changes and will no longer operate as Certified Vacations). As a part of working there we were able to travel on many vacations for FREE! It was awesome. In this particular picture my co-workers and I were on a sunset cruise on the bay of Acapulco. I'm in pink (can't believe that) in the middle.

Two:

I used to be a Harley Mama! I bought my first motorcycle in 1998 and drove that everywhere! In one season, which is short in Minnesota (oh, I moved back after two years in FL) I put 8000 miles on that bike. I went to Sturgis, SD for the first time and my only regret was that we trailer the bikes instead of riding out there. I sold that bike the following Spring. It was a sad day. BUT I ended up buying another bike in the Spring of 2004. I wasn't married and of course didn't have kids, had a nice job and decided it was time to have get another HOG. Then about a month later I met my now husband. We had mutual friends that had motorcycles and that's how we met. In August of 2004 those friends and I all rode our bikes out to Sturgis, SD! I always said if I ever got the chance to go back I would for sure ride out there and I am glad that I was able to do it. This is a picture of me riding while in Sturgis.

Three:
Since most of my blog is about my family I thought the third thing would be about me and my sister who is three years younger than I. I was looking for a picutre of us together and realized that I really don't have one. Not anything from the last few years anyway. So that is something I must get! She is a great person and I love her very much. We live 3 hours away but speak on the phone almost everyday. She has two wonderful girls ages 4 & 6....needless to say my sister, Little T, is a wonderful mother! I could go on and on. In this picture she is with my daughter, Muffin.

That's three! Hope you enjoyed the photo blog hop from MckLinky.
