The last four years have passed by me so quickly. I realize just how fast with every movement of my children. When I watch the youngest it reminds me of a time when the older two did that exactly same thing. It also makes me a little sad to think that these firsts for Sophie will also be the last firsts in our home.
Just this morning as the Henry and Karley ran to their room and Sophie was left in the living room. I said to myself, in just a year she will catch up and be running after them. Then I thought, a year, who am I kidding, she'll be doing that in a few months. This last year has flown by! My baby is nine months.
Sophie went to the doctor last week and these are her measurements:
Height: 29.25" - 95%
Weight: 21 lbs. 2 oz. - 88%
OFC: 17.5" - 60%
She is on track for everything except some gross motor skills. Already in the last week she has been more mobile and it's so fun! She loves to give big open mouth kisses, loves to hang all over Mom, loves her puppy and blankie and did I say she loves Mom? Well, yes, she really is very attached to me and I just love that!
Henry and Karley love being big brother & sister to Sophie. When they giggle and play it warms my heart beyond belief. I just feel so blessed to be their mom.
