McDonald's Studio

On Sophie's birthday I took the kids to McDonald's Studio to have her one year pictures taken.  I just love the work Joe does!  I brought Henry & Karley there on their birthday as well.  I always envisioned something really nice to mark the one year birthday and have it forever on my wall.

I will go in next week to see a slide show of all the photos and then pick which ones I would like to purchase.  I'll never forget the first time I went, I was seven months pregnant with Karley and so very emotional.  As the music played and the pictures passed by the screen I cried and cried that my baby was so big and wondered where the time went.

I talked Joe into sending me two photos for you to peek at since you won't be able to come to the slide show with me.  If you've been to my house you'll know this first one is so much like one of Henry that hangs on the wall of one year old photos Joe took.

It's crazy how much they really do look alike.

My one, two and three year olds.  I think we are in for a lot of fun!

Thanks Joe!

  1. Awww, adorable! The big ONE! I still can't believe it's been a year. I'll cry right along with ya girl! Sniff, sniff. I had forgotten until you mentioned it that your kiddos are only one year apart. My goodness! You are superwoman! :)

  2. Ohhhh, they are precious!! How are you going to decide?!? Three in three?!? Do people constantly say to you you must be sooo busy? I remember getting asked that all the time and mine aren't quite as close in age as yours. I didn't realize it at the time, but I was very busy. I'm glad you've taken the time to capture such beautiful portraits of your children. You will treasure them always!

  3. What gorgeous pictures. I can see why you take them there. Beautiful.
