This week is Vacation Bible School. Henry & Karley were signed up and I was going to be a volunteer. Sophie was able to walk with me in my duties. But I've learned this week to keep expectations low. Even though I was one of the leaders, Karley couldn't be one inch away from me. Rather sweet to have seen her tears, except her tears and fears were an example to her little sister. So after one brave hour yesterday, I bailed, with my two tearful fearful daughters. I left my brave school boy on his own. Yes,
that school boy.

Today when I picked Henry up we had this conversation:
Henry: "Mom, we made a Tabernacle out of rocks..." Along with some other materials I couldn't quite get a visual for.
Mom: "Really?"
Henry: Tells me more about the Tabernacle.
Mom: "Henry, what is in the Tabernacle?"
Henry: "Jesus"
Love that boy!
Later in our drive as we pass our local church...
Henry: "Mom, you forgot to say 'Jesus & Mary save souls'"
I guess 3:00 PM snack & Bible is bearing fruit.
Hope you are having a good week.
