Truth & Life Dramatized Audio Bible

More and more we have become a family on the go.  I have had the wonderful pleasure of listening to The Truth & Life Dramatized Audio Bible on the way to school (two or three times a day, five days a week), while running, on our three hour drives to visit family, as well as right in my kitchen.  I found it best for me to load this on my ipod so I would never be without it.

I love being able to read from my Bible study in the morning and then catching up on the reading via the audio book sometime throughout the day.  It's been great to hear it twice.

The voices are absolutely  beautiful done, an all star line up.  Neal McDonough, Blair Underwood, Kristen Bell, John Rhys-Davies and one of my favorites - Julia Ormond (she has been in many movies but Legends of the Fall as Susannah was my favorite).  They all play the parts so well.

The packaging is as beautiful as the voices in it.  There are three folders that open up to a cross (clever, I'd say) with six CD's in each folder.  These three packages fit in a small six by six by two inch box that you can take anywhere.

What you will hear is the RSV-CE version of the Bible.  I have mostly read from the New American Bible so this is nice to have another reference.  Many of the Bible studies I do seem to use the RSV-CE version of the Bible.  I also like that my kids can hear the Word spoken by somebody other than me.  The change of characters helps them understand and keep them interested.

I highly recommend The Truth & Life Dramatized Audio Bible to everybody.  It's wonderful to listen to!
