Such a cute picture! And great job framing it with the fur lining. And using the light to make sure her face wasn't in shadow. Cute cute cute! Thanks for linking up!
Thanks Cari.....a lot of good luck I think. :) It's been fun doing this!
I love this!! What a sweet little face!!!
Thanks Jamie!!! Thanks for the follow as well! :)
All the colors are lovely, go right along with her priceless expression...and the fur on the hood is so "there" I can feel it!
Ahhh...thanks Rebekah....I lucked out with a sunshiney day and a good sport!
You're too good at photography, you're making the rest of us look bad! She's a doll, Tina!
You are too kind Colleen....it's a lot of luck! She sure is fun!
This takes my breath away! The unbridled mirth of childhood. Love!
She was fun to follow around trying to catch this. It's fun to see what special moments we can try and capture of their childhood.
Adorable! Love her eyes squinting through the fur :) Beautiful blog!
Thanks Blair....she was hamming it up while I chased her around!
Definitely a Priceless Fisher!
He he!!! I think so too Shelly!
Love the fur!!! So nordic feeling!
That is such a cool picture! I love the wild fur and then her little whispies of hair curling around her face.
Thanks Rachael! I'm glad I got this picture because the coat is getting small. This will be the last winter we'll see this cute pinkalious coat. :)
Thank you very much Melanie!
Color + light = perfection!
Love the fur framing her eyes!
Thank you Rosie!!!
I love the fur! Too cute!
I agree with Cari on both fronts: both the framing and lighting in this photo are perfect, and they could have gone wrong from another angle or width of frame. Also, she is beautiful, which always helps.
I think I got lucky. :)
Ohmygosh, she is too cute for words! What a great photo! :-)
Thanks Bobbi!!! :)
Umm...WOW!! I LOVE THIS SHOT!! How did you get it? Do you know the settings? Did you change the white balance at all or was it auto white balance. She's a beauty.
Ah well...really it was lucky. I followed my three kids running around outside at school and happened to get the most willing child to not run so fast and twirl around.I know so little about white balance...it was on auto. Here are the other tidbits....I almost always shoot in A (Nikon). I mostly like the low aperture settings. This was on 4.8 which was the lowest I could go with this lens? f4.8 iso 400 195mm (I have a longer lens so I can pull closer to the kids face without having to get close to them?) 1/800 White balance Auto.Thank you for the compliment. I do wish I knew more about photography and hope to learn more this year! ;)
Thanks for making my day!
